Women's Sports

Army of Parents respect everyone’s right to live their life the way they choose. We believe everyone has the right to love whomever they want without harassment or government overreach into their private and personal relationships. We also believe that we as parents, citizens, and community leaders have a responsibility to protect the rights of women and girls. Let us be clear. We are NOT anti-Trans. WE ARE PRO-WOMEN.
It is our belief that by not defining a woman and allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports is wrong, discriminatory, and unfair. It fundamentally dehumanizes biological women, erases them, and takes away their agency. Further, it sets the stage for women to have to accept being second best to men in sports before ever having entered the sports arena -as it is undeniable that men are biologically and physically different than women.

There have been many articles written that claim men competing in women’s sports is nonissue and that demonize states and legislators who want to protect the rights of women and pure competition in female athletics. The articles are chock full of anecdotes and unattributable or non-contextualized data manipulated into making readers think that there is scientific evidence that men have no physical advantages over women when competing in sports. We have provided documented and scientifically proven data that show biological men do, in fact, have a physical advantage over women even in the cases where their body masses are on par, or they are taking hormone drugs

The narrative we hear from the white house, government institutions, organizations, media and even school boards is that there are no differences between the genders, female athletes are not affected by male athletes competing against them, and therefore the laws and policies that they are passing to dismantle women’s sports are fair, just, and necessary. However, the reality is that biological male athletes are trouncing women and girls in athletic competition in the Olympics, colleges, high schools, and elementary schools in every country. With the end to fair athletic competition, females are losing their opportunities for state titles, scholarships, endorsements, and their dreams.
Every time a male athlete competes against a female athlete, the female athlete loses more than just a competition. Females are displaced from their sport; their victories are stolen and the opportunities they deserve are lost.
In the year of its 50th anniversary, Title IX, which has provided for five decades of progress for female athletes is being revised from its original intent and weaponized to discriminate against female athletes. The Biden Administration, in its efforts toward Equity, has changed the definition of the word sex from its clear biological and legal meaning to include “sex stereotypes, sex-related characteristics (including intersex traits), pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation and gender identity.”

On his first day in office, President Joe Biden led by fringe signed an executive order that repealed the Trump Administration’s version of Title IX, mandating that any school that receives federal funds allow biological males who identify as girls to compete on girls’ sports team. If they do not do this, they risk losing federal funds, such as those that go toward the free and reduced lunch programs for food challenged kids and families.

The executive order from the White House has trickled down to be included in new policies issued by the Department of Justice and the Department of Education. In Army of Parents headquarters’ backyard, the now infamous and embattled Loudoun County, Va., school board has created a policy that compels teams to allow transgender athletes to play on teams of the gender with which they identify.
We must stand together to fight these policies that threaten the rights of our Women and Girls. We’ve come a long way, baby. We must not go back in time!
